Osteopathy Naturopathy Cranio Sacral Therapy Massage Acupuncture David Drysdale qualified from the British College of Osteopathy in 1992. Treatments are tailored for the patient. Elderly and convalescing people also benefit from gentle Osteopathic Treatment, as do children. A person in severe pain will usually respond well to gentle treatment and is less likely to find treatment an ordeal. When a person has suffered a trauma such as Whiplash, Cranio-Sacral Therapy is the most effective approach. Where a chronic, muscular condition needs treatment, Deep Massage or Acupuncture will often be a more appropriate approach to treatment. Some people do not like Osteopathic Manipulation and like a much gentler approach, while other people find Manipulation very therapeutic and request it as part of the treatment. I use a variety of therapies to treat each person to the best of my ability. Therapies I use a number of therapies in my Practice, as people visit an Osteopath with many types of complaint. In his spare time David likes Cycling, Cooking, Hill Walking, Rock Climbing, Yoga, Field Archery, Reading and generally trying to practise what he preaches. He has gathered many techniques and principles from other fields. David has studied Acupuncture & Trigger Point Therapy, Yoga, Nutrition & Naturopathy, Bio-Mechanics & Ergonomics, Neural Manipulation & Visceral Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy, Meditation & Relaxation Techniques. David has continued to learn many new skills since qualifying. He worked in New Zealand and North Yorkshire before returning to Glasgow in 1996. I like to discuss the various approaches and likely outcomes of treatment with a new patient.
